The Best Lubes

As with everything regarding sex I’ve done a bunch of research. And these three lubes are hands down the best. They are the ones that I use. However, having different lubricants that suit each particular occasion is crucial to fully enjoy sex.

So before you make your purchase, keep on reading a bit further to make sure you not only go for the best lube, but also the right lube at the right time.

Why You Should Use Lubes

A bottle of lube is something that you always should have at hand when you’re having sex. Most women love the feeling of having lube in and around their pussy. If the woman for some reason also is sensitive or not wet enough she will of course appreciate it even more. And if you keep on going for a long time, the lube will minimize the risk of her skin getting irritated.

By choosing lubricants with different aromas, flavors, or that stimulate other sensations such as cold or heat, you can also enhance the sensory experience, which will be very pleasurable.

Lubes With Condoms

If you are fucking with a condom, lube is also super useful. As neither you nor your woman will appreciate the dry humping that condoms unfortunately all too often create. A water-based lube on the outside of the condom will make it so much better for the both of you.

To create a nicer feeling some men also recommend applying a bit of lube to the cock before putting on the condom, or a drop of lube inside the condom’s outer container. However, be careful to not use too much as this may cause the condom to slip off.

Since oil causes latex-based condoms to break, it is important that the lube is water-based if you’re going to use it together with a condom. But if you don’t use condoms, regular oils like grape seed oil or coconut oil are the best lubes.

The Best Lubes for Anal Sex

If you are planning to have anal sex, lube is an absolute necessity because the anal, unlike a pussy, never becomes wet. During anal, water-based lubes are the best lubes to use since silicone-based creates more friction. However, if your partner is used to and comfortable with anal sex, you can also experiment with a silicone-based lube. The advantage of these lubes are that they last longer than water-based.

Oil-based lubes should not be used with latex condoms, as they may break the condom.

Don’t use a lube that numbs the area, as also the enjoyable feelings will disappear. In addition, pain is a necessary symptom to stop the anal sex in order to avoid injury to the area. For more information about anal sex, I recommend checking out the blog post girlfriend wants anal on this topic.

Fingering and Squirting

During intense fingering or if you are trying to make your partner squirt, you should always apply lots of lube before you start. Since you often use pretty powerful finger techniques when you make her squirt, it’s a necessity. In addition to minimizing the risk of your partner feeling discomfort, a wet pussy is a prerequisite for squirting.

Wet Platinum: The best silicone based lube

  • Its unique moisturizing formula also boasts nourishing and skincare benefits, making it ideal for sensitive skin.
  • Designed to enhance your pleasure and increase your comfort.

Cons

  • Coconut oil can degrade latex, so it is not compatible with latex condoms.
  • People prone to frequent vaginal yeast infections should avoid this type of lubricant as it modifies the vaginal pH.
  • Coconut oil can be quite messy, staining sheets and clothes, so you should be careful when using it during sex.

My choice (if I had to choose one): Wet Platinum

For its long-lasting lubricant formula, Wet Platinum lubricants were specifically designed to last. Silicone will not evaporate or dissolve in water; it can be used in the shower or spa. Excellent price/quality ratio.
